Having been involved extensively with the Travel Industry for the past 30+ years providing guided tours to all corners of the world, as well as regional New Zealand tours, the time had come to focus more on our 'backyard' as it were, hence the birth of New Zealand Tours & Travel and Tesla Tours.
In addition to leading small groups on overland tours, we also lead them on both ocean and river cruises, so we are acutely aware of the intricacies of all forms of travel and the best ways to maximise the guest experience accordingly.

Over the past decade we recognised a change in the way many travelers wanted to experience the places their travels took them, and the means of transportation. There was an increasing demand for smaller group sizes, more personal service and greater comfort. We filled the void by offering personally escorted small group experiences.

That's the same philosophy we apply today to guests joining us from all over the globe.

what we do for you
We know travelers are spoilt for choice with a vast number of tour operators offering their services.
What sets us apart is our experience, and desire to show our guests not just the highlights but some of the lesser known gems of Christchurch, Canterbury and Hurunui. Sure, we'll tell you all about the places you're seeing, but more than that, we'll allow time for you to really experience this incredible slice of paradise, and the magnificence of its scenery, culture, people and architecture.
